The project has been supported under the call for proposals of the Operational Programme Employment, Public Administration Projects focused on innovation in thematic areas of the Operational Programme Employment and is implemented in the period 2020-2022.The aim of the project is to develop social inclusion policies based on statistical and qualitative data, using an evidence-based policy approach. Since its inception, the project partners are the Hradec Králové, Liberec and Olomouc regions and the Statutory City of Chomutov. In autumn 2021, the Karlovy Vary Region joined the project’s partner network.
A team of analysts and policy experts has been established within the project and is in close contact with the cooperating regions and cities. Based on the needs of the partners, it proposes the most appropriate solutions to selected problems (e.g. in the field of affordable and social housing, debt issues, prevention of early school leaving, etc.). The partners participate in the preparation of new policies and then put them into practice with the support of the project team.
The project also supports the knowledge and capacities of the cooperating regions and municipalities through seminars, workshops or conferences, with an emphasis on peer-to-peer learning across localities.
In cooperation with the Association of Local Authorities, administrative data on social exclusion and related policies are processed and made available to municipalities, regions and other public authorities through the Analytical Geoinformation System (AGIS).
